The cargo in a 20-foot container weighs – 20 000 kg.
The cargo in a 40-foot container weighs between 20 000 and 25 000 kg.
Size and weight limits of goods:
Goods can be packed in pallets (120 x 80/100 cm, 1,500 kg) and boxes.
Most railway operators prohibit the transport of heavy loads (steel coils, equipment).
Other restrictions:
The transport of dangerous goods (ADRs) is banned on Chinese railways.
Not to accept sanctioned goods.
Exit clearance must be made at the train departure station.
Import clearance is not allowed at the border station, only at the destination.
The number of containers in the entire train: 41 x 40 “or 82 x 20”.
Equipment used by express train operators:
Pairs of 20-foot lockers (may not be shipped from all stations);
40 feet flat cabinet, 40 feet high cabinet;
Not the same carrier’s 40-foot and 45-foot freezers;
Not the same carrier’s 20 foot open top box, 40 foot open top box.
Please note:
The customer can deliver the goods to the designated departure point or AsstrA can pick up the goods according to the shipping order.
Goods shipped from shipper (door to door, door to station) must be delivered to the station 4 days prior to departure.
The goods should be delivered to the departure station 7 days before the departure of the train. Check the seats before the train leaves.
Customs clearance will be conducted 2 days before the departure of the train.
When shipping LCL goods, the weight of a single container must not exceed 2 tons and the length must not exceed 3 meters. Otherwise, there will be additional costs.
In China, the consignor shall provide the necessary documents, export licenses and certificates for import and export customs procedures;
